Summer 2010 Block Leader Profile: Darin M.
WHY I JOINED JACC:
During the aftermath of the May 22nd, 2011 tornado, I saw my neighbors of all nationalities come together and help each other– lending their time, resources and materials.
It was for these reasons that I wanted to help start my block club was to continue this momentum and further connect our residents.
JACC has been a big part of this by helping us organize and connect to community service providers.
Our block has worked hard together to restore our little section of Jordan.

WHAT is leadership: It is leading by example and being a servant of the community. It is being on the lookout for opportunities and resources that benefit my neighbors.
