The Jordan Area Community Council announced today the selection of Cathy Spann for its next Executive Director. Ms. Spann is a longtime resident of North Minneapolis with over 20 years in the nonprofit field, including such organizations as Phyllis Wheatley Community Center, The Jeremiah Program and NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center. She brings to the position a wealth of experience in North Minneapolis working in the public and nonprofit sector and significant relationships with key stakeholders in the community.
“We’re very excited to have her join us,” said JACC Board Chair, Lynn Riskedal. “This is a great time for JACC and we wanted a dynamic leader who could carry our organization forward. We believe we found that in Cathy.”
Ms. Spann will begin her position next week.
