1Untitled-drawing

What: Community Power is hosting a Powerful Conversation in your area to provide the necessary background information needed to empower community action on behalf of Minneapolis residents to improve our energy system.

When: Thursday, April 17th, 6:30-8:30

Where: Fireside Room

St. Olaf Lutheran Church

2900 Fremont Ave N

Minneapolis, MN 55411

Need/Problem: Minneapolis residents have very little control or input into who they purchase energy from, what the energy is, where the energy comes from, how it is delivered, etc. Those who do have control are responsible to shareholder and managerial interests to the detriment of our environment and public economic interests.

Solution/Action: Together, we’ll understand how energy monopolies impact our energy costs, our communities, and our planet, get excited about what is possible, and share ways to take action.
