28th Annual National Night Out

In 2010, for the first time in Minneapolis NNO history, we asked you to take charge of helping us document National Night Out. It was a resounding success! We received well over 600 great photos and video. They were included in the Post Project Report for the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). We were also able to create a slideshow that went to NATW. That was a first for us as well. This happened because of you!
We need your help again this year. Get some fresh batteries in your camera because National Night Out 2011 is fast approaching!
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS
Photographs
- They must be digital photos. We can’t process traditional photos.
- Please e-mail them or put them on a CD and mail them or drop them off. Photo quality can deteriorate when emailed. It may have an impact on our ability to use them.
Videos
- Please submit your event footage on a DVD or mini DV tape. The City of Minneapolis cannot accept large e-mail files.
- Your block party may be seen on City Cable TV Channel 14. The footage may be used in the 2010 NNO highlight video we will be doing to document our successful National Night Out in Minneapolis.
Please include the location of your block party and contact information with your submissions. Keep copies of your photos and videos for your
Block Club, as we cannot return them.
