Jerry Moore
Executive Director
Jerry Moore was selected as the Jordan Area Community Council (JACC) interim executive director in October 2006 prior to being asked by the JACC board of directors to permanently lead the organization as its new executive director in April 2007. Immediately upon taking the leadership helm of JACC, Moore sought out to stabilize the staff turnover rate, enhance the strong Jordan neighborhood block club network, and provide board of directors training and visioning opportunities through a vigorous strategic planning process. Before being selected as the JACC executive director, Moore served as business consultant for City of Minneapolis Policy Analyst personnel, program manager for the Minneapolis Urban League—Health Education Division, capital campaign manager for the Sojourner Project, program director for the St. Paul Urban League—Youth & Adult Services, and a business development sales consultant for Thane Hawkins Enterprise.

Kimberly Spates
Housing Consultant
Kimberly Spates is a highly skilled management professional with 10+ years experience in public administration, operations planning, resource and economic development and housing. Currently, an assistant to the Hennepin County administrator, overseeing a workforce of 10,000 individuals, Spates also serves as the JACC housing consultant. Before joining the JACC team, spates worked as a senior planning analyst for the African American Men’s Project, a planner for the City of Minneapolis Grants & Special Projects initiative and as an economic development analyst for the City of Dallas Housing Department, in the state of Texas. Spates also serves as a board member for the Volunteer Lawyers Network and Restorative Justice Community Action agency.

Kenneth Wilson
Safety Outreach Coordinator
Kenneth Wilson, a 30-year resident of north Minneapolis, currently serves as the JACC safety outreach coordinator. Wilson’s primary duties include providing staff support to block clubs, providing community organization support to Jordan residents, working with the Minneapolis Police Department to address crime prevention and safety issues, coordinating efforts with the judicial system and working with the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center to enhance the lives of Minneapolis children, youth and family members. Before coming to JACC, Wilson served as a youth program director for the YMCA of Greater Saint Paul Skyway Branch, and a youth counselor for The Bridge for Runaway Youth - Archdale Transitional Housing Program.
